About Us

Kalari Vineyard was planted in 1998 by Valto and Pamela Heikkenen and has now changed hands. Ian Anderson is the new Owner but remains a boutique, family owned vineyard situated on the banks of the Lachlan River in Cowra NSW, west of Sydney.

These aged vines produce intense fruit from the Verdelho and Shiraz grapes and the award winning winemaker at Madrez Winery (Chris Derrez) transform the intense fruit into award winning premium reserve grade wines.
